Big Muddy's Education Program
Learn how to grow food in the city!
Big Muddy Urban Farm’s educational courses are a great way to learn gardening basics to empower yourself to grow, harvest, and store your own food.
These educational experiences are intended for:
1.) the people of Gifford Park (and the entire 68131 zip code) and surrounding areas
2.) children from across the Omaha-Council Bluffs Metro Area
3.) aspiring urban farmers from anywhere in Eastern Nebraska and Southwest Iowa
Beginning in Fall 2025, we are offering Classes for Adults and Classes for Kids.
Free! Registration is free for every workshop
Location: Courses will take place at Yates Illuminates (3260 Davenport Street Omaha, NE 68131), Big Muddy Urban Farm Office (3322 Burt Street Omaha, NE 68131), or other locations, as specified!
