Part-Time Education Specialist

Big Muddy Urban Farm is seeking a Part-Time Education Specialist to help develop curriculum, co-teach, and manage three urban agriculture educational courses in late summer/early fall of 2025. The name of this educational program is “Educating Tomorrow’s Urban Farmers” and it is a new program that is being launched thanks to the support of two generous local foundations.

Board Members (3 needed)

Big Muddy Urban Farm (BMUF) is seeking to acquire three new board members before July 31, 2025. 

We are looking for people with business/nonprofit leadership experience, knowledge of (urban) agriculture/horticulture, and a passion for helping empower farmers and food producers of all ages and backgrounds to thrive in their work.

The purpose of the BMUF board is to advise, govern, oversee policy and direction, and assist with the leadership and general promotion of Big Muddy Urban Farm so as to support the organization’s mission and needs.

The Vision: Big Muddy Urban Farm envisions a regenerative food system that is equitably structured and environmentally and socially connected.

The Mission : Big Muddy Urban Farm is dedicated to making sustainable agriculture accessible to all.
