Board of Directors: Applications Accepted Until Filled

The Big Muddy Urban Farm Board of Directors is actively seeking motivated community members to join our small group of dedicated volunteer board members. We welcome applications from individuals who connect strongly with our mission, vision, and values and have the capacity to help steward our growing organization into its next phase of growth.

In particular, we seek applicants who live, work, or spend time in Gifford Park and neighborhoods surrounding it, as well as individuals from historically marginalized communities or with relevant lived experience. Prior board service is not a prerequisite to be considered, but experience with nonprofit organizations is an added benefit.

The purpose of the BMUF board is to advise, govern, oversee policy and direction, and assist with the leadership and general promotion of Big Muddy Urban Farm to support the organization’s mission and needs.

The Vision: Big Muddy Urban Farm envisions a regenerative food system that is equitably structured and environmentally and socially connected.

The Mission: Big Muddy Urban Farm is dedicated to making sustainable agriculture accessible to all.
