Free Food Distro Tuesday Partnership

In partnership with the Gifford Park Neighborhood Association, Big Muddy Urban Farm is home to a weekly food distribution program, powered by a team of dedicated volunteers and generous in-kind donations from Whole Foods of Omaha.

Every Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m., people facing food insecurity are invited to our property at 3322 Burt to obtain nutritious food at no financial cost.

Volunteers assist clients with food selection and balancing the needs of the day with equitable distribution. This program began several years ago as a program of an organization known as Food Not Bombs.
